What qualifies her to teach and train globally?

  • Keisha T. Jones is a sociologist and social psychologist with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Maryland (College Park), and a dual Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Theology and Pastoral Care and Counseling and another in Black Church Studies (African Literature) from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University (Fort Worth, TX). She is a professor of Sociology, Psychology, and English using all three to build future leaders who think critically, lead with growth mindsets, and have a heart to change the world. Her teaching career spans more than 15 years, with teaching experience at large and small colleges, public and private, rural and urban, two-year and four-year institutions, in online and traditional formats, in the United States, China, and Africa. She also has over 8 years of experience in academic and career advising and college administration.

  • She is an apostle, ordained elder and evangelist and often referred to as "A Mother to the Nations" overseeing several churches in South Africa and helping to rebuilding and establish churches, community gardens, and schools. Keisha T. Jones has served as a Baltimore City Police Chaplain and has provided training for the Community Collaboration Division officers and city-wide chaplain program across denomination and interfaith lines breaking barriers of religiosity to bring unity, interfaith dialogue, and practical application to all who desire to provide effective care to those living in crises. She has 5 units of Clinical Pastoral Education training, and was a hospice chaplain for over 5 years throughout the DELMARVA as well as Texas and Pennsylvania.

  • She has held extensive seminars and trainings on The Corporate Soul Wounds of the Black Church; Guiding Children through Separation and Loss; Clergy Misconduct and Ineffective Pastoral Care; Alzheimer’s: Reaching Deep into the Soul of the Caregiver, African American Grief, and The Psychology of the Soul.

  • Jones is the first in the history of BCPD and Johns Hopkins to spearhead an initiative that brought together chaplains and crises responders across the state of Maryland to train under her leadership for a one-day training entitled, Pastoral Care in Crises: The Effective Trauma Response which she held in March of 2016 at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is the founder of EP International, the first small non-profit that Johns Hopkins has ever partnered with.

  • Her MASTER CLASS series, WEAPONS OF WARFARE: Don't Waste Your Weight & Soul Healing STRATEGIES began December 2021 and are beyond powerfully life changing and effective.

  • She has also worked in DC on Capitol Hill lobbying for public safety issues and public policy concerning education and electrification for underserved impoverished Black and Brown communities.

  • She continues to spearhead grassroots initiatives on local and global levels as she trains other pastors and leaders to do the exact same in their cities, states, countries, and nations. Her mantra is "Building a church (The Body of Christ) God can be pleased with." She believes that the real and effective work of ministry is done outside of the four walls (of the church).
